Profit Bank, Real Business Opportunity or Scam?

This is my honest review for Profit Bank, an online opportunity to make money.  The man selling profit bank says “the more people that use the profit bank software, the more money you will make.”  I am not sure how this is true.  Basically, they pitch you on a supposedly amazing software, but the truth is, the software they’re talking about just automates the creation of a generic landing page/website on their own website.  You plug in one of two possible fields, the first being your clickbank id, the second your id for aweber email if you want to collect emails with the new page they create for you.

I don’t know where the connection between others buying into Profit Bank helps everyone else who buys it earn money.  It would seem to me that the opposite is true, that the more people who flock to do it, the more the market will be saturated and the harder it will in fact be to make money with this system.  Also, my Profit Bank landing page is distinct from anyone else’s, so I don’t know what they have to do with earning me more money by joining. How is it possible to get the traffic needed to this website they create?  They seem to pass over this gaping reality without explanation.

Again, I’d appreciate them elaborating on how more people buying into Profit Bank means that all of the other people getting in on it will indeed make more money, because it seems completely otherwise.

The pitch they use in selling this system is misleading in a few ways.  I am convinced that without me personally driving traffic to this page, it will get next to none.  So they sold me on software which turns out just to merely be a generic landing page.   It’s good for them to have automated the process of landing pages that will inevitably get them paid, but it is not clear how it will help if the actual buyers don’t have traffic on their landing page.   I have no access to stats or any clue on how well my individual page performs.   I can’t imagine how this is going to have enough traffic on its own to make money.  It’s basically a clone page of someone else’s who bought in to Profit Bank, so how it could possibly get meaningful traffic or sales generated through it?  How many others are there exactly like it?  Hundreds?  Thousands?

Another way it feels misleading is that they repeatedly say in their training videos, “You’re going to make money with profit bank no matter what.”  I feel that this statement is probably a stretch or straight up dishonest.  I realize that I only bought it today and it probably takes time, but I have to admit that it seems like a huge long shot.  Again, I don’t know how this generic page will get traffic if I do not deliver it personally through my own marketing.

Positives?  I feel that the website they generate for you is nicely designed.  It’s a good idea to have a website about Clickbank’s top money making products and direct buyers right to them. The layout and objective of the landing page are clear.  Even though there are probably hundreds exactly like it, I feel that the information on it is presented nicely.  Still this brings me back to how it is after all a generic landing page, and I find it hard to believe that it make me any money at all on its own.

It’s also misleading because they say how to make money doing this, you don’t need Facebook or Adwords, or any other form of online advertising.  After selling you the software, they proceed to train you to do these exact things if you want extra income with the system.   Again, they claim that these methods are not needed and you can employ them if you want to make extra money, but I see them as vital if anyone is going to actually make any money at all with Profit Bank.

The lesson they give on using Twitter to promote the page that they set you up with is so basic that I would call it worthless.  You can’t start a twitter account and in a day start to effectively promote things.  To build a twitter account of value, you need lots of time, months, perhaps years before it can ever do anything meaningful for you in business.  They just say that you can make more if you decide to employ other methods to promote your own page.  They don’t really go into depth on how difficult it is to drive traffic from twitter.  I’m not sold on how simple they’re selling this system that is in fact difficult if not nearly impossible to generate income from.

Unfortunately the other information offered for educational purposes after purchasing this system I find to be very weak.  I’d suggest this system if it had applicable information that I could apply in my own situation.  I’m sure any of the extra instruction they offer is available on thousands of youtube videos.

I am going to report back on the free website they gave me after a few weeks.  Of course I’d be thrilled and blown away if I made money, but I’m not holding my breath.   They offer a refund up to 60 days, I may ask for it because I find the whole thing to be well presented without substance. OF course I will eat my words if I somehow generate a meaningful income from this website, but I’m not holding my breath.  They have an excellent pitch that will be sure to convince many to buy Profit Bank, just like me, especially gullible folks hoping for a quick path to money.  As with anything in life, it’s never easy to succeed.  Do you really think you’ll make thousands on the one simple click they like to pitch?  I don’t think so, but in a few weeks, I would not be upset to be proven completely wrong.

Should you buy it?  I don’t think so, but there’s educational value at the very least if you want to see how these guys make the pitch to buy.  I think that’s the real system that they have mastered to do so well online.  They haven’t mastered a true way to make money that they’re imparting to you as much as they’ve mastered a business plan and clever emotional sales pitch to get you to buy their questionable product.
